This December will mark 51 years of the Salisbury Jaycees Foundation devoted service to our local youth. For me, this also marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter serving as Foundation President. I am honored to take on this role and continue the incredible legacy built over the past five decades. I am deeply moved by the past generosity of our community and look forward to working with a new generation of enthusiastic volunteers to further our mission.
The Salisbury Jaycees Foundation has been honored to impact countless lives through our signature event, the Children's Christmas Shopping Tour. Thanks to your unwavering support, we have been able to bring the magic of Christmas to children in need, filling their holiday season with joy and warmth. It is important to remember that for many vulnerable families in our community, the excitement of Christmas morning remains uncertain.
In collaboration with Walmart, Mountaire Farms , and the Wicomico County Board of Education, the Salisbury Jaycees Foundation is committed to bringing holiday cheer to around 200 underprivileged children in our community. Chosen based on genuine need, these children may find that the gifts they receive through this program are the only presents they get this Christmas.
